The California Community Foundation accepts grant proposals year-round from nonprofit organizations. Grant recommendations are approved by the foundation's board of directors three times a year and applicants are notified immediately after the board determinations.

Eligible organizations are those that seek to meet an identified community need and match the goals, objectives and priorities of the foundation. Learn more about each of the foundation's program areas: arts, human development, education, health care and neighborhood revitalization.
